Better functionality on Table
As a recent user to xlwings I think it is an amazing tool to link Excel and Python! However, when doing my little Python IO functions I had to tweak a few things that I believe could be part of the xlwing functionality:
When you do the opposite and paste a Pandas DF into excel, you may find your value shave been changed because excel believes 0001234 is 1234 and 12345E7 is 12345x10^7. To avoid that I have to first select the range and make the format = "@". This could be sorted by adding a new argument so the cells take the format of the pandas' DF for instance. For instance:
- Range("A1", format='@').value = df or maybe
- Range("A1", format='fromdf').value = df
PS: I also believe the default value of atleast_2d should be "True" to avoid rookie mistakes!
