We don’t have OO/LO on our roadmap anytime soon. But we would love to hear some feedback about pyoo.

Yes, that will be great feature and as far as trading in cloud using api is concerned I will be able save lot of money by getting away from Windows environment and their paid office suit.

Hi, any updates on this idea Felix? I have seen xlwings at the Python Quants conference I think. xlwings support for Libreoffice would be super-useful.

Native python support in OO is far too complicated to be useful. An easily accessible interface like xlwings would be awesome. Also, this could extend the reach of xlwings to Linux desktops (see e.g. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LiMux).
