Reopening this as with Win Excel >2013 it’s possible to create a Bokeh app in theory…
An error occurred while saving the comment Seems this is not possible in the way we can do it with matplotlib: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/24060173/with-bokeh-how-to-save-to-a-png-or-jpg-instead-of-a-html-file
Just calling Bokeh as an external chart is obviously possible without any special setup.AdminFelix Zumstein (Admin, Zoomer Analytics LLC) shared this idea · -

An error occurred while saving the comment Not sure if your sample is actually doing that, but it's relatively easy to access the underlying pywin32 objects until the feature is properly implemented in xlwings: see http://docs.xlwings.org/missing_features.html

We don’t have OO/LO on our roadmap anytime soon. But we would love to hear some feedback about pyoo.
An error occurred while saving the comment This might be worth checking out in the meantime: https://github.com/seznam/pyoo
